Bible and Religion

Although I'm not so well-versed in the biblic languages (Hebrew and Greek), very high is my interest in Bible, this collection of texts. Also a study trip to the Holy Land in 1985 have fostered this interest.
I'm very enjoyed about a two-volume Bible-edition in german language from the year 1781 (reproduced left side), wich was foundet from an acquaintance of my father in a loft in a village of Northern-Bohemia and given to me instead of trowing away.
Did you know incidentally, thath any scientists {compete with: Warnecke, Heinz: Die tatsächliche Romfahrt des Apostel Paulus / Heinz Warnecke. - 2. Aufl. - Stuttgart: Verl. Kath. Bibelwerk, 1989 (Stuttgarter Bibelstudien; 127)} expect the running aground of Apostle Paul on his travelling to Rome (as a prisoner {Act 27,1-28,11}) was not on MaltaIslandbut near the town Argostoli in front of a peninsula called Meliteon Kefallinia island, proved on the basis of zoological, botanical, geological, meteorological as well as nautical facts at the time of this journey - Such to read is more excintingly for someone who's interested in sailing and particularly in navigation just like me.
